Jasper Bok

I am the laboratory manager of the life science laboratories of the MPI. It is my purpose to facilitate the people in the laboratories so that they feel supported, safe, competent and confident. I want them to experience a great amount of scientific freedom, while operating efficiently within the boundaries of existing rules and regulations necessary to maintain a safe and pleasant working environment.

Besides managing the laboratories of the Language and Genetics Department, I have shared MPI wide responsibilities as team leader of the emergency responders and HSE (health, safety and environment) officer.
