Dilay Karadoller

I am working as a postdoctoral researcher at Multimodal Language Department.

I have obtained my PhD degree from Radboud University Nijmegen and Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics under the supervision of prof. dr. Aslı Özyürek, dr. Beyza Sümer and dr. Ercenur Ünal. During my PhD, I investigated the development of spatial language and memory by drawing evidence from the modality of language use (sign, speech, speech-gesture combinations) and timing of sign language exposure. Currently, in my postdoc, I am working on creating normed databases for Turkish Sign Language closely working with signers in Turkey.
