Bringing Amsterdam and Nijmegen sign language together

On October 1st, 2024, sign language researchers from two research groups in Nijmegen (MLD)and Amsterdam (Sign Lab Amsterdam) gathered for an informal workshop at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics in Nijmegen.
The event served as an excellent opportunity for participants to share insights into their ongoing research and explore potential collaboration opportunities together.
Researchers presented their work and exchanged ideas on various topics related to sign language studies and related applications that will be used to teach sign language to hearing people. The open and collaborative nature of the workshop sparked engaging discussions, with many participants expressing enthusiasm for future joint projects and meetings.
