European Excellence Awards for Letterprins in Berlin
Since the launch of the Letterprins app in 2022, 10,000 accounts have been created. Of these, 5,000 children play the game weekly and 3,000 even daily. The Max Planck Institute in Nijmegen will be collecting DNA from children who use the Letterprins app to practise reading. All these children learn to read at their own pace and in their own way. By collecting DNA, researchers at the Max Planck Institute can find out how DNA factors collectively influence learning pace and trajectory, and which processes in the brain are involved in learning to read.
Esther Steenbeek accepted the award in Berlin: “We are happy and proud that Letterprins is receiving so much praise and attention. For the Letterprins project, besides recognition, this offers even greater brand awareness, which will lead to more parents and children using the app.”
The European Excellence Awards reward outstanding achievements in PR and communication. With categories ranging from internal communication to public relations, the Awards offer a complete overview of the most successful campaigns in Europe.
