I am a PhD-Student working in the Language Development Department under the supervision of dr. Seamus Donnelly, prof. dr. Rogier Kievit and prof. dr. Caroline Rowland. My main focus is to explore the role of individual differences across and within children in language development.
Before starting my PhD, I was firstly trained as a philologist during my BA in Greek Philology at the University of Ioannina, Greece. Following my passion for language, I was trained as a linguist during my MA in Linguistics at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and my Research MA in Linguistics at Utrecht University. During my first MA, I developed my thesis project on the thematic roles of psychological verbs in Greek, and how they are decoded and produced by people with dementia. In my Research MA, my thesis project focused on the statistical learning of adjacent and non-adjacent dependencies at a ‘virtual cocktail party’.
