Lukas Galke

Hi there,

As part of the LEADS group led by Limor Raviv, I'm investigating how communication protocols emerges among neural network agents and how to design them in a way that they can serve as models for human language evolution.

I did my PhD at Kiel University with Ansgar Scherp as my PhD advisor, while working as a PhD researcher at ZBW – Leibniz Information Centre for Economics. Before starting my PhD I received my Master’s in Computer Science from Kiel University in 2017.

My research focuses on natural language processing and continual machine learning. I’ve worked on text classification, information retrieval, unsupervised text representation learning with compositional matrix space models, multimodal autoencoders as hybrid recommender systems, and lifelong learning with graph neural networks.

More about me on my personal academic website.
